In the first quarter of 2025, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Central America demonstrated varied performance metrics, with some apps showing impressive growth in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 53.5K at the beginning of January and peaking at approximately 104.9K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users also climbed, beginning at 909K and reaching over 1.15M by the end of the quarter.
Domino's Pizza México experienced a spike in downloads at the end of January, reaching 169.1K, before settling to a more consistent range around 37K by March. The active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 948.9K in late January and stabilizing around 526.8K by the quarter's end.
Starbucks México maintained stable download figures, with a weekly average of around 34K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at approximately 916.8K in the last week of March.
Burger King® Mexico recorded weekly downloads ranging from 22.6K to 44K. Active user numbers showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter with 222.5K users.
